About Dr. Gaurav Tripathi
Dr. Gaurav Tripathi completed his DM in Cardiology at the G.B. Pant Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, New Delhi — one of India’s best-known cardiac training centres. Before that he took his MD in General Medicine at RIMS Ranchi, where he was a gold medalist, and his MBBS at Shyam Shah Medical College, Rewa, with a Roll of Honours in several subjects.
He has 15 years of experience in cardiology. Before founding Prathmesh Cardiac Institute, he established the cardiology department at Suyash Hospital, Raipur. He has performed thousands of procedures in Raipur alone.
His routine work covers the hardest cases in coronary intervention — CTO (arteries that have been completely closed for months or years), bifurcation lesions where two arteries branch, and heavily calcified blockages that a balloon cannot cross on its own. For these he uses IVL, Rotablation and IVUS. He also has a particular interest in structural intervention and electrophysiology (EPS).

Yes. Angiography and angioplasty are performed by the consultant himself, including at night for emergency cases. They are not delegated to junior staff.
Yes, and a good number of consultations are exactly that. Bring the angiography images and reports. You will get a direct reading of what they show — and if the advice you were already given was appropriate, you will be told that too.
